I feel awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Most of my clients feel this way at first. My approach is calm, gentle, and guided — there’s no pressure to perform or pose. We’ll move slowly, focus on connection, and let things unfold naturally
How does the process work?
Just a few gentle notes so everything feels easy and stress-free:
— My editing style is natural, nostalgic, and cinematic.
— Your images will be delivered in a private online gallery, available for 3 months.
— Life happens — you’re welcome to reschedule up to two times.
— A deposit is required to reserve your date (non-refundable).
— Studio rental or specific location fees are not included.
I’ve never had a photoshoot before. What should I expect?
No worries — I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way. I’ll suggest simple, natural movements and help you feel comfortable. Your only job is to slow down, be present, and enjoy the moment.
What should I wear for my session?
Choose outfits that feel like you. Soft textures, earthy tones, and comfortable fabrics photograph beautifully. After booking, I’ll send you simple guidance to help you prepare.
Are you available for sessions outside of Chicago?
Yes — I love to travel and photograph stories beyond Chicago. If your story is happening somewhere else, I’m happy to be there with you. Travel fees apply and are calculated individually based on the destination.
What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor shoot?
We’ll either reschedule for another day or find a cozy indoor location. I always stay flexible to ensure you have the best possible experience and beautiful photos, no matter the weather.
How do we book?
Once you choose your package, I’ll send a simple contract and deposit link to reserve your date. From there, I’ll help guide you through the process so everything feels easy and clear.
